Stamp It Up Holiday Gift Exchange

Tonight was the yearly Stamp It Up holiday gift exchange at Sharon's house. Every month we meet to work on crafting projects, but mainly to learn new ideas from the company Stamp it Up to make cards, calendars, scrapbooking, etc etc. But in December we usually meet to have some snacks, visit with eachother and exchange gifts for the holidays. When we first arrived, Sharon and her husband Vern performed a few holiday songs on the guitar, ukulele and hammered dulcimer. It was so cute to watch them play and perform together. This year because of the economy we decided to do homemade gifts and do a mini white elephant to trade gifts. Some of the gifts included beaded necklaces made by Debbie, homemade toffee by Sue, a mix of beans and spices for a cowboy chili and a homemade pot holder by Cindy, a knitted neck collar and notepad by Sharon. I received a felted bag and two pairs of mittens made by Wendy. It is AWESOME. I love it. I made a pair of pink mittens and matching beanie. We visited for a while and then took a couple photos and headed home. It was nice to see everyone.
