On Saturday, Nick and I ran the Cable Bridge Run 5K. We had not done a single athletic thing for the past month so we didn’t really expect to get a good time, but just to finish. I ran the 5K in 30:44 and Nick ran it in 27:29 which are both respectable times. However, the aftermath of pain in our legs and backs the next two days were excruciating. The lesson we learned is to work out more often and stretch after a race.
Right after the race, we showered and hopped in the car and drove to Leavenworth to meet up Geoff, Lin and Natalie. We had a good time browsing all the doors and eating and drinking the Bavarian cuisine.
Gotta love a good bratwurst with sauteed onions
I love the tree lighting and all the shops all lit up
Sampling all the cheeses in the Cheese Monger Shop
Picked up some Bavarian beer for my uncle
I love those gorgeous hand blown glass balls
We had dinner at Cafe Mozart
Here are some photos from the bag making sweat shop. I gave one 15 minute lunch break. ha!
