We went to Seattle this past weekend and saw two concerts at the Key Arena. We saw Muse on Friday night and Michael Buble on Saturday night. Both shows were fantastic! We had such a great time watching both bands and had a great time visiting with family and friends. We really lucked out with the pass not affecting our drive over. We’re looking forward to coming back soon.
The stage was awesome!
The lasers were really cool
Muse was an absolutely amazing concert. They put on a fantastic show. We loved the set design and all the music.
On Saturday night we went to Marrakesh with Geoff, Lin, Aaron and Katie. We ate with our hands and the food was fantastic. Stepping into the restaurant was like a whole different experience. The ambiance was really cool with the low lighting, bright colors with all the bunting which made it feel like we were in a tent in a far off land. Geoff and Nick sat on the floor on their little pillows.
Roasted eggplant, cucumber salad which we scooped with our tasty bread
Phyllo dough stuffed with mushrooms, meat and egg
Speared chicken with rice
Lots of chicken, couscous, and lamb
There was even a belly dancer! Nick gave her a little tip
Heading over to the Key Arena for the next concert
Opening act for Michael Buble was Naturally 7 an all acapella group. They even did all the instruments with their voices!
Michael Buble put on a great show. He really sang to the audience. He has a smooth, sexy voice, very Frank Sinatra like. There were probably 75% women there…..and 25% men whose wives or girlfriends dragged them out to the concert
Michael Buble put on a really fun show. I didn’t know he was from Vancouver, BC. His family was in the audience too. He had his young nephew get on stage and he asked him,”Who is your favorite band?” The nephew replies,”Jonas Brothers!” hahahahah. It was really funny.
